Mailing List
Please consider joining the Federation Mailing List. This is open only to members of the Gwent Police Federation. Sometimes the Force will ask for the view of the Federation on a particular policy or issue. This may be on a very real issue that affects you, such as uniform, substance testing, or shift patterns. To ensure that we reflect the views of our membership accurately it is helpful if we can ask you, the operational officer, what you think. Up until now we have had no way of doing this quickly and efficiently, but the mailing list gives us the opportunity to gather the views of our membership. If you have a view on the issue you can reply to the e-mail, and we will take your views into account when replying to the Force. If you have no views on that particular issue, you can just ignore and delete the e-mail. This is your chance to make your voice heard. We may also use the list to circulate details of offers to our membership.
To join the list is easy;
Click on the rotating 'e-mail' symbol above .
This will open an e-mail to us with the address and subject line filled in ready for you. Please do not change these details.
In the body of the e-mail please enter;
Your rank and name
Your six figure staff number
The e-mail address that you want us to send mail to.
There is no need to
enter anything else. So for example your e-mail would simply read:
Pc 123 John Smith
123456
johnsmith@youraddress.co.uk
Once you have entered your details send the e-mail in the normal way. You will be added to the list as soon as possible.
