What will the list be used for?
Sometimes the Force will ask for the view of the Federation on a particular
policy or issue. This may be on a very real issue that affects you, such as
uniform, substance testing, or shift patterns. To ensure that we reflect the
views of our membership accurately it is helpful if we can ask you, the
operational officer, what you think. Up until now we have had no way of
doing this quickly and efficiently, but the mailing list gives us the
opportunity to gather the views of our membership. If you have a view on the
issue you can reply to the e-mail, and we will take your views into account when
replying to the Force. If you have no views on that particular issue, you can
just ignore and delete the e-mail. This is your chance to make your voice
heard.
We may also use the list to circulate details of offers from
companies to our membership.
Why do you want to know my six figure number?
The list is only open to our members. By asking for
your Rank, Name and Staff Number, we can ensure that only members are added to
the list. These details will be checked and confirmed before you are added to
the list.
Will my e-mail be passed on to anyone else?
No.
Can I be taken off the list if I want to be?
Yes, just e-mail us.
What if I change my e-mail address?
Just e-mail your new address to us.
